Overheard & Eavesdropping

This project represents (typo)graphically people's conversations I tuned into in London.

After having assumed that type can talk, I started wondering how two different senses can be combined.
How is it possible to depict voices and sounds in written form?

How can we convert hearing into sight?
For my project I chose two of the conversations I had overheard on the bus, which lent themselves well to being represented graphically.
The most effective way to represent the place where I had collected the conversations was to take back onto the bus. Back to the place where they were born.
I stuck my conversations on the doors and I took pictures while the bus was moving ahead along its route. As soon as the bus goes ahead you see different roads and catch a glimpse of thing.
This is where my project ends; exactly where it started: on the bus.
